Miami International Auto Show opens October 16

posted in: News 0

Miami International Auto Show 2021 is one of the main auto shows in the country. This year’s annual event will take place from October 16-24 at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

This year’s auto show is expected to feature hundreds of new cars, trucks, SUVs and crossovers, as well as some of the industry’s most anticipated electric vehicles, debuting in South Florida.

Major automakers have announced plans to unveil new vehicles at this year’s auto show. Highlights include the debut of the all-new 2023 next-generation Nissan Z at the US Auto Show and the debut of the 2022 Toyota Corolla Cross in Florida.

Such attractive exhibitions as Camp Jeep, Memory Lane and Car Boutique will be presented again. Toyota will host a Ride & Drive right outside the convention center, inviting visitors to get behind the wheel of its new cars, SUVs and trucks.

Vintage cars on display in Memory Lane include the 1948 Nash Ambassador Custom Cabriolet, which is considered one of 60 of its kind in existence today, and five corvettes that once belonged to legendary pop artist Peter Max.

Media on opening day

The opening day will host Media Day press conferences and an annual media lunch hosted by the Southern Automotive Media Association. Automotive journalists are expected to attend and report on the news from this year’s auto show.

Miami International Auto Show 2021 is committed to providing a safe environment for exhibitors and visitors. The show will follow the safety protocols provided by the governing bodies and the Convention Center in advance and during the auto show. Originally scheduled for February 2021, the auto show was initially pushed back to May this year. With its October dates, the Miami show returns to fall, where it has been a mainstay for nearly 50 years.

The South Florida Auto Dealers Association has been the official sponsor of the Miami International Auto Show since 1971. Today it includes about 200 new showrooms in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and Monroe counties.

Entrance to the Miami International Auto Show is $ 13 for adults, $ 6 for children ages 6-12, and free for children under 5. A $ 3 discount on admission will be given to first aiders, medical professionals, and active-duty military personnel with valid ID. Miami Beach residents can also get a $ 3 discount on proof of residency admission.
